Distractions in the workplace are very common and often costly and yet taking regular breaks can boost productivity as it can allow us to recognise a comfortable pace to be super efficient. So how can you identify and then turn distractions into creative tools to get you into a daily rhythm? Many people need to have a strong discipline to get the jobs done and this may be your innocent distraction for the day but it is also a tool to recognise your daily rhythms.o edit. We all follow many rhythmsFrom the daily rise and shine to the habits and patterns we all enjoy, there is always a rhythm. I have heard football teams describe their pattern of play as offensive rhythms and quite often there is always some mechanical rhythm or natural rhythms (bird song) in our environments.
There is a comfort in the fact that we are all moving forward but sometimes when we stop and look at these rhythms there are the moments we can review what is going on and find a way to repeat patterns or in some cases not to repeat patterns. Quite often we do not stand still long enough to look at recurring patterns but they are constantly all around us.
Powering your energy with a new flavour...Do you store a lot of energy from all the nutritious food you eat? When do you feel the real benefit of eating? At times I feel like it’s when I am eating because of the great flavours but I am sure it is when I need the energy for simply keeping myself breathing and my heart pumping healthily. All of this production of energy is there to be ready for the daily tasks and of course doing fun things in life like cardio drumming which can give us a better healthy heart engine to get us to where we are going.
